Leicester City are on the verge of securing the services of South Africa international Tsepo Masilela.
The 26-year old left-back is wanted by Foxes boss Sven Goran Eriksson and a loan move from Maccabi Haifa should be finalised once he receives clearance for a work permit.
"We are busy working on his UK visa to get him across for his medical. As soon as he gets that then we will come over," Masilela's agent Mike Makaab told skysports.com.
"I think this move will propel him to the level he deserves to be at. Tsepo will give it his best because he wants to stay in England long term.
"Sven knows Tsepo well but there have been a lot of eyes on him across Europe.
"He has been quite unlucky to get injured when he did because there was a lot of interest in him from Birmingham City and FC Twente in Holland.
"I think that Leicester want to make a real bid for the Premier League and that is where Tsepo wants to play eventually."
