Mascherano on brink of new Liverpool contract agreement
Javier Mascherano is ready to sign a new four-year deal with Liverpool.
The News of the World says Mascherano is ready to hand Liverpool another huge contract boost by agreeing a £19million deal.
The Argentina skipper wants to sign a new four-year contract worth £90,000 a week.
Following Pepe Reina's decision to commit himself for another five years, the spine of Liverpool's side is remaining intact despite a poor campaign.
