Javier Mascherano admits he's considering his future at Barcelona.
With Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti forming a solid central defensive partnership, minutes are becoming scarce for the midfielder-turned-centre-back and he will study his options.
"I still have a contract with the club, but it's clear that maybe once the season finishes I'll I look at what to do," he said in an interview with TyC Sports.
"But I've not yet spoken with anyone.
"Barcelona have always shown that they are happy with me.
"There will be a time to think.
"It's more than obvious that I play less frequently at my club because I have two other centre-backs there who are better.
"I try to fight for my place and, above all, to be ready for when I'm called upon."
He is, though, completely sure that he won't continue to play for Argentina after next summer.
"My time with the national team will come to an end in Russia and won't go on any further," he said.
"I'm motivated to try to repeat the performance we had in the 2014 World Cup."
