Mascherano accepts Barcelona bench role
Javier Mascherano insists he's happy at Barcelona.
The former Liverpool midfielder was left on the bench for victory at Real Madrid and has been linked with AC Milan this week.
"I have to accept my place,” he said.
“Piqué and Puyol are the first choice centre backs and if they’re fit, they play."

Where are you from??? not Spain? Do not slag off people with a point of view. I believe Mascherano should be ashamed in the way he left Liverpool, I cannot deny he is a world-class player but the way he left was very disappointing and unprofessional.
Sitting on the bench and being an unused substitute is not being part of a world-class team, its not being good enough to be part of a world-class team.
@ Anonymous, you are an idot, I guess you have not seen Barca play because then you would see Mascherano starting almost every match for Barca. Last classico was the first match where he came in as a substitute and the media is making it like he is roting in the bench. By the way, I would rather sit in the bench and be a part of the best team in history and win trophies like la liga and champions league and club world cup then play for loserfools in europa league and get kicked out by a spanish team around the semifinals and have no chance of winning the premiershit.
