Marvin Sordell happy choosing Bolton over Cardiff

Marvin Sordell is delighted with his move to Bolton Wanderers.

Sordell, 20, took just seconds to decide it was Bolton he wanted to sign for after they made a late bid to nab the Watford striker which matched an offer of £3.2million from Cardiff City.

He said: "It was about 7pm when I heard about Bolton.

"Then I was asked if I would like to go to Bolton and it was a no-brainer really.

"As soon as I heard that I was very excited and just wanted to get it sorted as soon as possible.

"I didn't need any time to think. But you don't have to when a club of that stature comes in for you with the chance to step up to Premier level as well."
