Sylvain Marveaux has claimed that he is on the verge of agreeing a move to Liverpool this summer. The Rennes star is out of contract in the summer, and has been linked with potential moves to several English clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea and West Ham, with the Hammers reportedly having a £3 million, bid rejected last summer.
"I am very close to reaching agreement with Liverpool about joining them next season," he said.
Marveaux is currently recovering from groin surgery, and the Ligue 1 side have confirmed that the do not expect them to play for them again.
