Obafemi Martins is set to return to the Seattle Sounders line-up for this week's meeting with Colorado Rapids.

The Nigerian striker missed the weekend's 0-0 with Sporting Kansas City with a leg injury but is expected to start when the Sounders host the Rapids at CenturyLink Field on Wednesday.

"I think [Martins] should be back for Wednesday," Seattle head coach Sigi Schmid said. "He's over it, and we'll just move forward."

The former Newcastle United and Inter Milan forward has scored six goals so far this season as the Sounders sit second on the Western Conference table.
