Everton manager Roberto Martinez doesn't believe in giving limited games to youngsters as an experiment.
Many clubs feel this is a good time of the season to blood inexperienced players but Martinez does not agree with that assessment, hence he will resist the temptation to field youngsters in the closing games of the campaign.
Martinez said: "One of our problems in British football with developing young players is we talk about giving them a few games and experimenting with them for a few games.
"That doesn't work. That doesn't develop youngsters."
The 11th-placed Toffees will play Sunderland, who occupy 18th, at Goodison Park on Saturday.
