Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez says there can be no hiding for his players.
The Latics have lost seven games in a row but expect James McCarthy and Franco Di Santo back after hamstring injuries for Saturday's visit of Fulham.
Martinez said: "A positive result is just around the corner and once we get that, I feel our season will surely kick-start.
"No-one deserves the bad luck we have been getting but we can't wait for someone else to sort it out for us. There's no time to look for reasons or excuses - it's time to stand up and affect the situation ourselves.
"James and Franco have been on individual programmes for the early part of the week but have progressed well and I'm hopeful.
"We won't know for sure until later in the week, but both lads are obviously desperate to be involved."
