Everton boss Roberto Martinez is ready to welcome Antolin Alcaraz as his first signing this week.

The Daily Star Sunday says he will be swiftly reunited with his former Wigan central defender, 30.

Martinez signed Alcaraz on a free transfer from Club Brugge in Belgium when he was in charge of the Latics.

And the Paraguay international won't cost Martinez a penny this time, either, as he's a free agent and out of contract at Wigan.
