Wigan boss Roberto Martinez will recall midfielder Mohamed Diame for the relegation run-in despite the player only just recovering from a groin injury.
"I consider him fully fit and I hope he will be available for the Easter period.
Martinez has admitted, however, he will have to adopt a softly-softly approach with the 24 year old Senegal international.
Martinez added: "We need to be aware of the demands we have ahead.
"We've three games in nine days, or if you want to look at it in another way, four games in 14 days.
"So we need to make sure we plan things well and we allow Momo to fully recover as we go into a huge demand in effort.
"He's reacted really well, I've been really pleased with his attitude in training, and it seems he is ready to join the squad." "We've really good news with Momo - he's trained the last two days with no reaction," said Martinez.
