Everton manager Roberto Martinez heaped praise upon loan striker Romelu Lukaku following his match-winning performance against Newcastle United on Monday night.
The Belgian striker, on loan from Chelsea, scored twice in the first half as the Toffees skipped away to a three-goal lead before eventually beating the Magpies 3-2 at Goodison Park.
Martinez was thrilled with the showing of Lukaku who also created Everton's second goal for Ross Barkley midway through the first half.
"He (Lukaku) is strong and powerful, but for a number nine to have that awareness around him - technically he is gifted," he told Sky Sports.
"At times he was unplayable and that that means he opened spaces for others.
"We need to get to know him. In the second half against West Ham (last week) he showed what he could do and tonight he looked at home."
