Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez intends to continue the global scouting network which was so successful under former manager Steve Bruce.

He said: "We've had a lot of success at this club with the South American and Central American markets.

"We need to spread our network and make sure we bring the players we need for a really competitive and healthy dressing room. That starts now."
