Everton boss Roberto Martinez insists his squad won't be broken up.
When asked if he would be prepared to sell any of his top players - notably left-back Leighton Baines and midfielder Ross Barkley - Martinez would not entertain the idea.
He said: "No. We were at that stage in the summer , but once Marouane Fellaini and Victor Anichebe left, that gave us the opportunity to reinvest.
"Now we are in a position where we need a bit of continuity and time to squeeze our potential as a team. That stability is very important for us."
