Everton manager Roberto Martinez has opened the door to another loan spell for promising youngster Gerard Deulofeu.
The 20-year old Barcelona forward is coming to the end of his season-long stint with the Toffees but according to Martinez, there is always a spot for him on the roster at Goodison Park if he wishes.
Spain U21 international Deulofeu has impressed on Merseyside this term in his eight Premier League starts which has seen him appear a total of 22 times in England's top flight and 26 times in all competitions.
Three league goals (and one in the League Cup) have given a glimpse of what the Girona-born winger is capable of and Martinez feels he will be warmly welcomed back to Everton if Barcelona are keen to send him out on loan again in 2014/15.
"He is an extraordinary player, good listener. Was a surprise to all. All Everton fans are in love with him and Catalunya," said Martinez, speaking with Catalunya Radio as quoted by El Mundo Deportivo.
However, Martinez insisted he would not place any pressure on Deulofeu, or the Blaugrana, in regards to the future of the highly talented young gun.
"Out of respect to the club, let alone a player who is not ours, or their future," added Martinez.
"Gerard always have your house in Everton, but can continue another season depends on what he wants and what Barcelona wants."
Deulofeu scored a sublime equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Arsenal in early December while also netting the opening goals in a 4-0 victory over Stoke City in November and a 2-1 triumph over Cardiff City last month. He has also provided three assists to go along with his trio of Premier League strikes.
