Crystal Palace signing Christian Benteke has claimed that the new managerial appointments by Belgium have breathed a new life into the national team.
The Belgian FA recently appointed former Everton manager Roberto Martinez as their new head coach and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as their assistant coach, much to the delight of Benteke.
“It is a fresh start for me on two fronts," Benteke told told the Daily Mail.
“I am looking forward to shine in both places.
“I think it needed a new staff (at Belgium). We were at the end of a cycle. There is a new wind blowing and it is good for everyone."
