Martinez delighted with Everton loan trio

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is happy seeing three more of their youngsters moved out on loan.

Francisco Junior, Gethin Jones and George Green departed for Port Vale, Plymouth Argyle and Tranmere Rovers respectively.

"It is a huge experience," Martinez told evertonfc.com. "In those three cases it is exactly what they need.

"Gethin has been progressing really well this season. The attention to detail from Joe Royle and David Unsworth has been very helpful but now Gethin joining Plymouth is going to be beneficial for the next month or so.

"George has been working really hard to get to the level that he is at and now he needs Football League competition. It will be an interesting time for him at Tranmere.

"And Cisco needs to be playing games now that we haven't got any fixtures in the Under-21s. It will be a big positive for him to be on loan at Port Vale.

"All in all we now have eight footballers out on loan, which is a huge amount. Every player has specific and individual needs to continue their progression and development.

"We are very happy with the way this season has allowed our youngsters to do that and get closer to fulfilling their potential."
