Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is convinced of Premier League survival after their derby win over Bolton Wanderers.
James McArthur's second goal in three games gave the Latics a priceless victory over their relegation rivals after Gary Caldwell's opener had been cancelled out by Mark Davies.
Martinez said: "We need as many players like James from now until the end of the season. There are many things we can control but you need the belief, arrogance and bravery in your make-up.
"It's easy to play when you're in the top six but in our position you need an extra bit of mettle. We know what it takes and we will fight with our lives to carry on in this league."
