Everton boss Roberto Martinez is adamant he won't lose his top players this month.
Martinez has Everton in the top four reckoning this season.
Asked if Everton can resist offers for any of their star performers in January, Martinez said: "Yes. Absolutely. There is not even a doubt.
"The finances and football link but the football decisions come from myself. The big help that I have is that I work extremely closely with the chairman, the chief executive and the recruitment department. There are a lot of people involved and we are in a very good position.
"Whatever happens in January, I can guarantee we will strengthen the squad, strengthen the football club and make sure that we are all stronger going into the second half of the season.
"I've said before that in football you cannot fight the trend of the game but as a football club you can dictate timing and everything you do should be for the good of the football club.
"Everything that happens needs to be to improve the squad, to give long-term to the strategy of the blend of youth and experience in the squad, and that's based on football decisions.
"I can guarantee that's going to be the case in January, 100 per cent."
