Norwich City defender Russell Martin admits they can breathe a little easier after victory over Wolves.

Saturday's victory leaves them 14 points clear of the bottom three and came after a four-match winless streak in the league, Martin.

"It is a massive win for us," he told Canaries Player.

"I think the gaffer has spoken about the performances recently, where we probably haven't got the results we deserve. Against Wolves we probably surprised a few people with the formation we started with but I think it worked really well.

"In the second half we have changed it again and combated everything they have thrown as us and probably could have had another couple of goals. It is a massive, massive win and takes us near the magical 40-point mark and it just gives us that nice little cushion.

"There has been a few good results from the teams at the bottom so it is a massive win."
