Martin Odegaard is expected to make his Real Madrid debut this weekend against Getafe.
The Norwegian whizkid joined Real in January from Molde and has been playing for Zinedine Zidane's Castilla.
If Odegaard features on Saturday (he has been assigned the number 41) he will do so at the age of 16 years and 156 days.
He will become the youngest player to appear in the history of the club, beating the record of Sebastián Losada, who debuted at the age of 17 years and six days in 1984 during a footballers' strike.
