Manchester United and Real Madrid are going head-to-head for Stromsgodset midfielder Martin Odegaard.
Odegaard has told Manchester United and Real Madrid that he will inform them where his future lies when he turns 16 next month.
The Mirror says the attacking midfielder is believed to be ready to go to either Manchester or Madrid when his season-long contract at hometown club Stromsgodset expires next summer.
He celebrates his 16th birthday on December 16 and Champions League holders Madrid have made a big play for him by tabling a five-year contract.
But United believe they still have a great chance of landing Odegaard after impressing him with a tour of Old Trafford and Carrington.
