Martin: Norwich players behind Adams

Norwich City captain Russell Martin says caretaker manager Neil Adams has the full support of the squad.

Martin revealed Adams had already made a huge first impression on his first day in charge of the Canaries.

"If there were any doubters amongst the lads there are certainly none now. He imposed himself on us when he spoke to us," Martin told Pink 'Un. "It was inspiring and the lads have full belief in him. What came across is we are too good to be in the position we are, but this is still in our hands and we control our destiny. The boys are looking forward to it. It was one of those chats where the lads would have played tomorrow if they could. There is certainly a different feel around the place.

"The ones who had not been featuring recently now have a chance to impress the new manager, regardless of whether he has come from inside the building or not. He has been watching the games, he knows the strengths and weaknesses and I am sure he has some ideas on the style of play and formations. Whenever you get a new man in it creates a fresh impetus. He's said he will make a few changes and if you are not on board you will be out the side."
