Liverpool defender Martin Kelly was delighted with victory over Rabotnicki last night.
Kelly gave another excellent display during Thursday's 2-0 victory over FK Rabotnicki in Roy Hodgson's first game in charge at Anfield and he admitted he enjoyed the experience of playing at left back.
"I have played there before for the reserves and then on loan at Huddersfield last season, so the manager asked me would I play there and I was happy to because I feel comfortable on the left and right," he told liverpoolfc.tv.
"It was a good game to play in because the crowd were enjoying it and so were we on the pitch. We played well as a team and we will get stronger.
"Joe Cole was outstanding on his first game for us at Anfield and he linked well with everyone. I also thought Milan Jovanovic had a great debut as well and showed what he can bring to the team."
