Plymouth matchwinner Lee Martin admits he became lost in the Manchester United system.

Martin has yet to make a league start at Manchester United, but marked his full debut for the Pilgrims with the winner against Coventry.

"It is very hard for youngsters to break through at United," said Martin. "Maybe I got lost at United. I went out on loan but then went back to Manchester and third-string status. I spoke to the manager and he told me the clubs that were in.

"He is a big fan of Ian Holloway and felt that Plymouth was where I could start enjoying my soccer again. When I relax and play, people will see the best of me."
