Marshall to win new Celtic contract

David Marshall is staying with Celtic, despite interest from Norwich City.

The Canaries had hoped to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent deal after he spent the second half of the season on loan at Carrow Road.

However, the Scotland international's agent, Willie McKay, insists Celtic are preparing to make the keeper a new contract.

He said: "He has a year of his contract still to run and Celtic are ready to offer him a new deal."
