Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall feels their Premier League status will be decided this month.

Cardiff’s schedule over the festive season includes home matches against West Brom, Southampton and Sunderland from which they will simply have to harvest a decent haul of points if they are to keep themselves out of relegation trouble.

“We’re doing reasonably well overall, but we need to work hard over the festive period. These games could be key,” said Marshall.
