Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud wants crunch talks with manager Maurizio Sarri over his future.

The France World Cup winner is tempted by an offer from Olympique Marseille, which are keen to take him back to Ligue 1.

Giroud, however, wants to know where he stands with Sarri before making a final decision and is eager to speak with his new manager face-to-face.

Sarri has already spoken to Michy Batshuayi this week to assure the Belgian he is a required player for the new season - which could lead to Giroud choosing to move on.

Marseille chief Andoni Zubizaretta has been in talks with Giroud's agents about personal terms for the past fortnight.
