Marseille striker Djibril Cisse would welcome a move to Tottenham.
Sunderland have decided not to take up the option on Cisse, who told Sky Sports: "Yeah, honestly, yeah.
"It is a really good team and a really good stadium and good atmosphere.
"But at the moment it is only talk. When I have more news, I'll let you know."
He added about Harry Redknapp: "I have heard a lot of good things about him. It would be good."
But Cisse insists he has not been approached by any club, despite rumours he told Sunderland players earlier in the season that he was set to join Spurs.
"The only choice I have now is Marseille. So at the moment I am a Marseille player. I hope that I am going to find a club in England," he said.
