Olympique Marseille are shocked by Crystal Palace's new asking price for Steve Mandanda.

OM are keen to re-sign the France goalkeeper, who left only last summer for London.

A bid of €1.5 million from OM has already been lodged - and rejected - by Palace since the end of last season.

Palace had originally been demanding €5 million, but L'Equipe says that has now been hiked up to €8 million.

The new valuation has left OM management stunned, with a deal now unlikely.
