Chelsea have launched an investigation after Marseille's security chief claimed he was thrown out of Stamford Bridge amid fan disruption. The two sides met last night in the Champions League, with the Blues claiming a 2-0 victory.
Head of security, Guy Cazademont, has claimed he was ejected from the stadium and Marseille stewards were not allowed to supervise supporters. He has since declared he will report the matter to Uefa.
In a statement released by Chelsea on Wednesday afternoon, they promised to provide the governing body any information they collected.
It read: "There were a number of incidents at Tuesday evening's game involving the away support, all of which are being fully investigated by Chelsea Football Club.
"We won't be commenting further until those investigations are complete and the results have been shared with UEFA."
