Marseille's Mandanda emerges as Tottenham's Lloris contingency

Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda is on Tottenham's summer transfer radar.

The 30-year old has emerged as a contingency for Spurs who are in danger of losing Hugo Lloris to either Manchester United or Real Madrid.

France number one Lloris has been linked with both United and Real, depending on whether or not the Red Devils keep David De Gea, which has opened up the possibility of 19-time Les Bleus international Mandanda moving to the Premier League.

"Yes, it's a league that I like a lot, there are the best teams there," Mandanda told Canal Plus.

"It's been a while I've been at Marseille. We'll have to see how the season finishes, where the club will be at the end of the season, whether or not there will be European football, if I have good offers.

"It's difficult to know whether I will stay or not. I'll see. I'll have to talk to the board and we'll find a solution.

"I feel good at the club, I'm not out on the street. I'm at a big French club, so there's no problem. But they are discussions to be had."
