Marseille's Deschamps distances himself from Liverpool job

Marseille manager Didier Deschamps is not about to leave his current role for the vacant Liverpool job.

The former France midfielder is the latest name to be linked with the Anfield position but he insists he has no plans to depart the Stade Velodrome this summer despite finishing 10th in Ligue 1 this term.

"It is expected that I will be there [Marseille] next season," he told French journalists.

"When it goes badly, there is need to recharge. I will leave on vacation but it is expected that I be there [Marseille] for July 2."
