Marseille has ruled out a return for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The troubled goal scorer was a Marseille player prior to joining Chelsea and has often spoken about his love for the club but sporting director Jose Anigo said the club could simply not afford Drogba.
"It is financially impossible [to sign Droba]," Anigo said. "He is inaccessible to us and for any French club financially.
"Even if he wanted to return, it would cost us one million euros per month. L'OM cannot afford this and Chelsea would not want to sell Didier cheaply anyway."
