Marseille president Vincent Labrune seeks loan talks for Arsenal outcast Chamakh

Olympique Marseille are interested in Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

The Morocco international has failed to deliver at Arsenal since his Bosman arrival last year from Bordeaux.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is now prepared to sell and French sources say Marseille president Vincent Labrune is keen to explore the prospect of bring him back to France in January.

Labrune, with the backing of coach Didier Deschamps, is keen to set up a loan agreement with the view to signing Chamakh permanently in June.
