Olympique Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud has hinted at a permanent deal for Bafetimbi Gomis.
Gomis has spent this season on-loan at OM from Swansea City and at times has worn the captain's armband.
Eyraud says a deal is likely to be discussed at the end of this campaign.
"Gomis is having an exceptional season. We will soon see what happens with him in the coming months," he said.
Gomis' original loan agreement doesn't include a set fee to make his stay permanent.
