Olympique Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud admits frustration missing out on Villarreal signing Carlos Bacca.

OM had been competing with Villarreal for the former AC Milan striker, before the Colombian chose to return to the LaLiga.

Eyraud told SFR Sport: "Why didn't he come? He must be asked, it is not for me to say why he did not sign for OM.

"What is certain is that in our way of working, we must reach a consensus between Andoni (Zubizarreta), Rudi Garcia and me. There were discussions with him, but no internal consensus that he was the ideal candidate to meet our criteria.

"If Rudi Garcia refused? This is our kitchen, and you will allow me to keep this subject to ourselves."
