Olympique Marseille chief Jose Anigo has opened the door to selling attacking midfielder Mathieu Valbuena.

The France international has spoken of wanting a move to Manchester United and has also been linked with Liverpool after an impressive Champions League campaign last term.

Anigo said: "For us, he is a key player, but if a big club asked for him, we would give the player the opportunity to choose.

"And if he wants to leave, so be it."
