Olympique Marseille are pushing hard to prise Moussa Sissoko away from Tottenham.
The France international midfielder is high on the €150 million shopping list of OM football director Andoni Zubizarreta.
And Le Journal du Dimanche says an offer of €25 million is being prepared to test Spurs' resolve.
Zubizarreta first registered OM's interest with Sissoko at last month's 80th anniversary celebrations for the midfielder's former club Toulouse.
And since then, OM fullback Patrice Evra has been regularly on the phone to his former France teammate about life in Marseille and the club's ambitious plans.
Spurs aren't expected to stand in Sissoko's way should OM formalise their interest after the midfielder's struggles this season.
