Olympique Marseille retain hope of prising Olivier Giroud away from Arsenal.
L'Equipe says OM are still keen on a deal and sports director Andoni Zubizarreta has already tried to establish contact with Gunners chiefs over a summer transfer.
Interestingly, Giroud has been named in Arsenal's 25-man squad for the Emirates Cup.
The Ligue 1 outfit have also fixed their sights on Celtic star Moussa Dembele and supposedly held talks over a £20m deal.
