Olympique Marseille management have scoffed at claims of Dimitri Payet wanting to return to West Ham.

There's claims in England of Payet being eager to re-sign for the Hammers - and the Londoners being keen to accommodate.

However, RMC says Marseille insiders have laughed off the reports.

Given the bitter split between Payet, West Ham and their fans 18 months ago, the idea of a return being realistic has been scoffed by those inside the OM boardroom.

OM have no interest in allowing the midfielder to leave this summer, with coach Rudi Garcia giving him the captain's armband last season.
