Olympique Marseille are launching a bid to bring Chelsea ace Didier Drogba back to the club in the summer.
The Daily Express says l'OM are trying to put together a £5million-a-year package to tempt Drogba back to France this summer.
Marseille, who are Drogba's first love, believe it is the right time to bring him home following the £50m arrival of Fernando Torres at Chelsea and the striker's claim that Liverpool's victory on Sunday "cut away our legs" in the race for the title.
A Marseille source said last night: "Of course Marseille want Didier to come back, but the wages will be a big problem. It is something they have to work on."
They are banking on the fact they are the only team Drogba would take a pay cut to join.
