Olympique Marseille are hoping they can lure Dimitri Payet back to the club.
According to reports in both La Provence and L'Equipe, the French outfit have made contact with the representatives of the West Ham United playmaker.
Payet's future at West Ham has been called into question in recent months which has seen the likes of Manchester United and former club Marseille show interest.
OM president Jacques-Henri Eyraud has said that landing Payet 'sounds crazy, but not impossible' and now it is understood that contact has been made with his entourage.
It is believed that Marseille are prepared to part with around £34million for the France international who left the State Velodrome for West Ham for £10.7m in the summer of 2015.
