Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher is set to find himself in limbo in France.

The Scot joined Olympique Marseille on-loan in January, with his Sunderland contract having just six months to run.

Fletcher has impressed at times alongside Michy Batshuayi in OM's attack. However, he hasn't done enough to convince management to keep him on.

La Provence says OM won't be offering the striker a deal for next season.

A return to England is now likely for the Scot.
