Marseille join transfer scramble for Arsenal striker Chamakh

Olympique Marseille want to bring Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh back to France in January.

The Morocco international, a Bosman signing from Bordeaux last year, has failed to make a major impact with the Gunners.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to sell Chamakh in the New Year - but only for the right offer.

Chamakh is wanted by Marseille coach Didier Deschamps, though Everton and Sevilla are also monitoring his situation.

The right offer?

What's that?

He came in for free and doesn't score goals?

It would be a shame to see him go but he is taking the space of some one who could bang in 20 a season.
