Olympique Marseille hero René Malleville feels they need to pass on signing Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

Giroud has been linked with Marseille this summer.

But Malleville told So Foot: "Personally, I already wanted Giroud when he was in Tours, but I was taken for a fool.
