Olympique Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has nothing negative to say about Crystal Palace.
The France international has rebuilt his career at OM after a difficult year in London.
Mandanda told France Football: "What will remain of this English experience? Not much on the ground. I think I only had nine games ... On the human side, I met very friendly and tolerant English players.
"I got closer to 'Yo' (Cabaye) with whom I was already friends. I opened myself to another culture in a top city like London. I also improved my English. After, I did not have a good season. I got hurt and was boycotted when I got back.
"All that was difficult to live with. But that's part of my experience. And I was able to bounce back in the direction I wanted. Marseille is unique in my heart."
