Olympique Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda is delighted to have quit Crystal Palace in August.

The decision - after just the one season in England - has seen Mandanda recalled to the France squad this week.

Mandanda, after victory over Wales, told RMC: "It feels good to play. After the complicated year that I lived last season, with the injury and the end of the season where I did not play too much.

"I was away for two or three meetings, it made me feel really good and it's nice to find my form and even more to play. To play, win and not to concede a goal, it remains a plus."
