Olympique Marseille are encouraged by a confession from Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.

The French press were quick to highlight the Ivorian's admission that he grew up a fan of Olympique Marseille.

In a wide-ranging interview, Bailly admitted following Marseille when growing up due mainly to Didier Drogba.

"I followed Marseilles and I watched my compatriot (Didier Drogba) who was playing there.

"OM was my team," said Bailly.
