Olympique Marseille is eager to sign outright Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis.

Marseille are keen to make the loan signing of Gomis permanent.

The club's president Jacques-Henri Eyraud told Telefoot in France: “I like Gomis a lot. He is very compatible with OM.

“If he wants to continue with us, there is no problem."

Gomis has scored six league goals in 10 appearances for Marseille this season.
